Giants game

On Sunday we all went out to Chilliwack to watch the Vancouver Giants.
Cody thought it was pretty funny that we drove through an Indian reserve, past the sewage treatment plant.... and then made it to Prospera place.
It was an early game so the girls were able to come too. The game started out with the first period ending 3-0 for Chilliwack. During the 2nd I had to take Jade to the bathroom, AND the Giants scored TWO goals!!!! I was so sad I missed the goals. I didn't miss the fight though:) (GREAT FIGHT!)
Anyway, We ended up winning the game in overtime 4-3 (YIPPIE!!!)

Spring Break

Today Ashlie did a Spring Break camp at Clipper street. They made a scrapbook page.
look even her clothes today match her page :P



Didn't she do a GREAT job! I am going to have to get her a scrapbook to put all her pages into.

weekend

On Saturday the Girls and I ( Cody was working) went out to Richmond for a Birthday Party.
I forgot my camera (silly me) so I have no pictures. I did take one picture today of the cute "eye's" Carina had for the kids to wear. it was a Mrs spiders party :)

am I a bad bloger

however good my intentions are... I never seem to "make" time to update my blogs. WHAT was I thinking having TWO!
so here is a quick update.
The kids are over the "bug".
Ashlie is doing AWESOME in school.
Jade wants to go to school.
I seem to have the girls "bug".
Cody is good, work is work.
As long as the Canucks are playing good, he is happy.
there are not enough hours in the day to get everything done I would like to do.

Happy Valentine's Day!

poor sick baby's

Ashlie is finally feeling better and will be heading back to school tomorrow.
After being under the weather since Saturday Ashlie seems to be over the flu ( with exception to the cough). I was so happy that Jade was not getting sick and thought for sure that she missed getting sick. SO since Ashlie was feeling better I took the girls to the park to get some fresh air. AND Jade demanded to go home saying she needing a nap. Sure enough when she woke up from her nap (crying her eye's out) she has a fever. Looks like Jade is sick now too. she has perked up now after "being sick" so maybe (hopefully) that is the end of it. (what a girl can dream, can't she)
ANYHOW that is it for the sick update. on another note.
Jade is getting so good at doing puzzles and can do all of our puzzles so fast I was wondering if anyone would want to trade puzzles with us (just so we don't have to buy any new ones)

A Birthday Party

here is a few pictures from Jade's Party... unfortunately there are no pictures of the games the kids played or Jade blowing out her candle, only lots and lots of pictures of Jade opening her presents. Oh well, Better remember next year.

We have been busy painting things around the house. jade's room, the powder room and the hutch... here is a picture of the hutch. I will be adding pictures of the powder room soon (maybe by the end of the week)

She's lost it...

Ashlie's Second tooth is gone. On Thursday the 18th of January Cody gave a "little tug" to the tooth and out it popped! In the pictures below you can seen the hole it left behind.

the girls and I went sledding with the neighbours Monday after school.

History repeating its self...

First the wind... and then the SNOW!
On Tuesday night it started (as you all know)

on Wednesday everything was covered in a light layer of snow (just enough, I thought) But on the walk to school it started snowing again and didn't stop until the evening.
I did try to go out I made it across the road before I decided I should head home.
I did go out again later just before 4:00 to go pick up Ashlie from a Friends house.
I was suppose to tell Cody how to get to her house, but it all looked different in the snow.
We (my fault) made two wrong turns and with the last one we were stuck for about 1/2 an hour (in the van). I figured I should walk from the main road to her house to avoid getting stuck again. When Ashlie and I got back to the van... the van would not move, lucky for us a VERY nice man out with his sons gave us a push and we were off again.
Home safe and sound.
