our new doggie- Ellie

Yesterday we went to the SPCA to have a look at the dogs.
We went to look at 3 black labs, but they were fearful from their previous owners so they didn't think it would be a good fit for our family.
they recommend Ellie ... she is a stray young adult German Shepherd .
Ellie is Very friendly and affectionate.. she is gentle and easy going. she knows how to sit lay down and shake a paw. she likes going for walks, but needs to learn to walk beside her walker.
she just got "fixed" two days ago, so I hope her temperament stays.

camping trip Aug 2007

On Sunday us "Lyth Family" left home for camping up at Sunnyside campground.
It would be a couple of days of Camping fun!
We didn't go alone though, our neighbours and friends the "Symington's" came too.
next year we are going to try to drag along some more Encore people :P
