Way to go JADE!!!

This is Jade standing by her "potty" chart. She was VERY excited since she had earned one sticker for her chart.
Since this photo was taken she has filled up that chart and is onto another one. SHE is doing AWESOME with her potty training!
P.S. she is also VERY excited since she is wearing her new P.J.'S Gram got her (they have doggies on them)

P.N.E.

After almost a week. I finally ask Cody about the cable... So here are some of the pictures from last weekend when we got to see High 5 ! There is also a picture of Ashlie with Clifford (the big red dog) AND kush from Kids CBC. Ashlie was SO excited to see Kush there she had to ask her if she could have her picture taken with her :)

I almost forgot...

Today was renew our car insurance day!!! YIPPIE!
Is it a bad thing when the man doing your car insurance tells you that you might want to start taking transit??

To whom it may concern

This is my letter of resignation....
As of this date I hear by turn over my job of "mama" to a Mr. Cody Lyth.
I think he would make a better mother then me... Here are a few examples for why I think this.

1. Got Jade to sleep at night by just putting her to bed (and same with her nap)
2. potty trained Jade one weekend back in Jan. 2005
3. Can get Davey to have a nap AND get him to sleep in the evening
4. When he tells the girls to clean up... They listen
5. Got jade (almost) potty trained (again) last weekend

busy?!? well, maybe not...

this is what us Lyth's have been up too.

Cody and I went to "City and Colour" concert on Saturday at the malkin bowl in Stanley park.
We had crapy directions and got a little lost... But we figured it out and got there safely. The concert was great, I (Kathy) could have done with out the people smoking, my lungs always hurt after being around smokers. Here is two pictures from the concert (just a guy and his guitar)




We have been to Dora. It was kinda disappointing, they only gave out tickets so you could have your picture taken with her.

Dora

Tonight we went to the Willowbrook mall to get tickets (for the kids) to go see Dora (the explorer ) on Friday.
SO in the paper it said tickets will be given out after 6:30 August 16th.

We go to the mall around 6:45 and the line up was HUGE ( from the customer service desk to purdy's ) I never thought it would be that insane.... Anyway, I didn't tickets they sold out.
So I hope we will be able to watch it from the side.

Air show

I deleted this photo from the end of the post (oops) so I had to add it here... This is the Stealth fighter

This morning we got a phone call from Cody's uncle Tom, Asking if we wanted to go to the Air
Show with him. SO off to the Air Show we went.

This Plane behind us is the USAF KC-10. We went and had a walk through it... This is one HUGE plane. It is used to refuel Fighter planes. It can hold 53,134 gal of Fuel, 41,229 gal can be transferred to other aircrafts mid- air. During refueling operations, fuel is transferred at a rate of 1,100 gal per minute. This aircraft can also be used to Transport cargo... 170,000 lbs of cargo.

a Stealth fighter, which we even got to see flying!

I think this is the plane that the girls got to sit in
the Girls trying to relax in the little bit of shade we had... Since a family came and sat right up behind our chairs (on our blanket in the only shade our umbrella was creating) while we were off looking at planes.
There was some Very cool stunt planes showing off what they could do.
One of the people doing stunts was a lady, She did two shows and they were lots of fun to watch.
then another person was landing his plane on a camper! And then he took off (still on the camper)
at one point a crazy person stole a plane and was driving it all crazy like (since he had no idea how to fly) and they had the army shoot him out of the sky AND the police out to get him on
the runway. IT was just for fun and had been planned (they didn't really shoot him out of the sky)
so that was about it! A VERY FUN DAY!

they had a busy afternoon (yesterday)... biking, basketball and running up and down a path were also enjoyed but not caught on film.

a special breakfast

Since davey is over we had a special breakfast. Chocolate chip "smiley face" pancakes

Guess who is sleeping in a big bed??

Davey was not impressed with having to sleep in his playpen. so Cody tried putting him in Jade's bed... he went right to sleep.

Davey LOVES Jades bed, he thinks it is so cool.. whenever he is over he plays in it all day.

even though Davey is having so much fun here... He does miss his mummy and daddy.
I have heard many sad songs about mummy and daddy being bye bye.

Davey stays the night

Davey is (hopefully) going to be a Big Brother tomorrow... So he is spending the night at his Auntie Kat and Uncle Cody's house.
First Davey and Jade played in her room, then she was reading to him one of his books he brought over. Then they played dress up. HE did have the wand in his hand but dropped it when I came out with the camera.
Davey also ALWAYS says "CHEESE" when I am going to take his picture. TOO CUTE!!!!
