Jade and I helped out with the terry fox run.. we had a lot of time to kill (thanks to poor organizing) so we played in the playground and took some pictures.

Davey was hanging out with Jadey bug, Grandma and me today...
and slipped on the sofa bashing his face on the armrest. now he has this big FAT lip!
he was totally into whatever show it was him and jade were watching he didn't mind auntie taking a picture or two
Jade on the other hand was having NONE of it!

For those of you who don't know... while camping at cultus this weekend we put our dog Ellie in a dog boarding/ dog daycare place. We thought it would be a great idea since we are trying to sell the townhouse and thought she would be all smelly and dirty from camping. So off Ellie went with her buddy Mickey to have a fun weekend of playing with other dogs.
Sunday afternoon while grabbing something from the van I heard my cell phone beep and phoned home too see if there was a message.
there was a message from our realtor saying we had a showing at 1 that day! YIPPIE!
and another from our vet saying someone had found Ellie and can we call them back so they can get us our dog back. (WHAT!!! Ellie is missing?)
there was one more message from a guy saying he had found our dog running (during the thunder storm that morning) and took her home, so to call him and we can pick her up. (Again! what!!! )

Cody did a bunch of phoning and sure enough Ellie had broke a fence down and escaped from the dog boarding.
some kind people saw her running like a bat out of hell and stopped to see if they could get her into there car. so on and so on.
we ended up taking her to the vet and she had to have some paw repair done (the rest of her is good! thank god!!!)

SO this is where Ellie went on her little run...
