just for you mum

We have been busy painting things around the house. jade's room, the powder room and the hutch... here is a picture of the hutch. I will be adding pictures of the powder room soon (maybe by the end of the week)

She's lost it...

Ashlie's Second tooth is gone. On Thursday the 18th of January Cody gave a "little tug" to the tooth and out it popped! In the pictures below you can seen the hole it left behind.

the girls and I went sledding with the neighbours Monday after school.

History repeating its self...

First the wind... and then the SNOW!
On Tuesday night it started (as you all know)

on Wednesday everything was covered in a light layer of snow (just enough, I thought) But on the walk to school it started snowing again and didn't stop until the evening.
I did try to go out I made it across the road before I decided I should head home.
I did go out again later just before 4:00 to go pick up Ashlie from a Friends house.
I was suppose to tell Cody how to get to her house, but it all looked different in the snow.
We (my fault) made two wrong turns and with the last one we were stuck for about 1/2 an hour (in the van). I figured I should walk from the main road to her house to avoid getting stuck again. When Ashlie and I got back to the van... the van would not move, lucky for us a VERY nice man out with his sons gave us a push and we were off again.
Home safe and sound.

Jade's room

First off this is Jade's new dolls bed (from Grandma and Farfar) Isn't it cool... It came with bedding and those cute little boxes for under it.
So here is Jade's room... I was going to put something Dora on the wall but went with the same butterfly's as in Ashlie's room

we haven't JUST been making cookies. Ashlie's Skating lessons ended last night with a Free family skate, so after school we all went skating.

both our little girl's are not feeling well.
Jade spend all day on the sofa (in mummy's arms) watching movies... and crying every 20 Min's or so. Ashlie seems well enough to go to school but is having a "nap" after school.
Both have been VERY cranky for the past couple of days.
I hope they feel better soon...

Santa Pictures

Every year, Since Ashlie was born (obviously) we get a Santa picture done.
last year Jade would not go near Santa thou. So ANYWAY! here is this years photo.
I am a little sad that they changed the "Santa chair" it used to be really cute... now it is just blue.

Christmas party

Yesterday Cody and I went to his work Christmas party.
We got all dressed up and went to the Pink Pearl Chinese food restaurant in Vancouver.
They have AWESOME food (really good food if you like seafood/ meat)! I just eat the rice, noodles and veggies.
This year they had some entertainment (an Elvis impersonator), which was TOTALLY COOL!
( it was a Chinese Elvis)
Anyway every year they give away presents to every employee... this is some of the presents they gave away this year, company baseball hats, company shirts, the Christmas decorations (from the party), a stereo, a ipod shuffle, a TV.
this year Cody won a Christmas decoration.
